Our new Colorado home

It is high time I spent a little time updating the comings and goings of Howard and Carol. We have already been back in Nampa for a week. It seems there is so much "catching up" to do plus we have been busy celebrating birthdays. Debbie flew in last Thursday for a suprise birthday gift for Howard.....and he sure was surprised. She was able to see a few friends and spend a day at NNU.
However, back to Colorado. We were there for 2 weeks....flew there, and then drove the 300ZX home because it doesn't handle the snowy weather too well. It was a dream to drive home. Our other experience was with the motor home, so it was quite different.
While at Peak Devices, Howard was able to invent a new package that looks very promising for the outlook of the company. It is evident that he needs to spend more time there in engineering and production, so we looked around for a 1 bedroom condominium and are in the process of buying it. It is in Longmont, built about 2 years ago, but never sold. 1 bedroom condo's are not in demand. As a result, we got a sweet deal and it is brand new. It will be a company condo, and other people will be able to use it, but it is mostly so I can go with Howard and he can be there more often and longer. We will probably be there an average of 1 week a month.
I have already started plans for the decorating and furnishing. I am trying to work within my budget. We will drive the Outback down to Colorado, packed to the gills, and leave it there. There is a detatched one car garage, so the car will be out of the elements when it is not in use. We will probably be driving down in about 2 weeks, when the condo is ready to close.
Even though I had been thinking hard about submitting my resignation as costume mistress for No Greater Love, this was added incentive. My resignation was submitted several days ago and gratiously acknowledged and received by both Bette Moore and Mike Wiebe. Whew, that is a big load off.
We are missing Jim and Nancy, so we plan on taking off for the hills tomorrow morning. They should be back from their trip to Portland and Seattle. It will be fun to catch up with each other all the happenings of the the past month.
