Snowing in Colorado
posted by Carol @ 9:48 AM

Our trip to Colorado was fairly uneventful with the exception of sitting on the tarmack for what seemed like ages, waiting for some computer clitch to be worked out. We landed in DIA just as it was beginning to snow, took a shuttle to Longmont and soon were safely settled in the warm cozy condo. Wow, do I appreciate such a nice place to stay.

Lots of snow has fallen and is still falling. For some reason, the power to our detatched garage was out, which means, of course, the garage door opener will not work. We had not been able to make the key, the one that releases the door from the opener, work. We actually thought it was the wrong key. However, Dad worked with it a little more persistently and Voila! it worked. We crept very slowly from Longmont to Boulder...mainly because that is all the faster that the traffic was going. Also, our snow tires for the Outback are still in Nampa, doing us absolutely no good here. Hmmmm! So we shall see how long this snow sticks around. It looks like a winter-wonder-land.
