Post about my Wii

Well Bec told me to post about my Wii, but instead I think I'll write a little about my Nintendo. ;)
ANYWAY...
I've picked up a total of 3 games for it. Plus the Wii Sports that came with it. We have Legend Of Zelda (which is an adventure game), WarioWare Smooth Moves (which is a fun party-type game), and Monster 4x4 (which is a monster truck racing game). That last one was supposed to be easy enough for the kids, but Parker keeps getting beat by the computer. :(
I'll probably wait a while before I get another game. See if I can find a really good game for the kids.
Anyhow, the Wii is pretty cool. The whole unique control concept is actually a lot of fun. It works surprisingly well for driving games. In fact I like it a TON better than regular analog joysticks for driving. The gas and brake aren't quite as good as with a trigger, but oh well.
Anyhow, I really want to try this thing out in a large-ish group. Tomorrow night we're going to have a bunch of guys over for poker (Sunday School thing) and afterwards I think we'll try out the Wii. It should be some good clean fun!
As for future gifts, you can't go wrong with a Wii game. Especially for the kids.

Yea! A new post!
Our neighbors have a Wii and I've played the boxing, bowling, darts and tennis sports games. The boxing gets you really hot and sweaty... good work out. And we did a driving one, which resulted in lots of shrieks and laughter... I'm just glad that a controller now actually responds to all those jerky movements I used to make as I tried to avoid things! Now I just have to tone it down a bit.
Nice! We just had a Wii party last night here in Kansas City, Brandon Hill was there. Those things are really cool, I may need to get one of my own. I think Jenny (my wife) could actually really get into a system like that.
Becca, thanks for your comments on my blog, I hope you enjoy the music!
